Terrible News: Two skateboarders tried to drop in at Tim Pool's Boonies gnarly private training facility last April 20, but Carlos Naffziger-Brown, unfortunately, broke his femur after a couple of attempts, despite being a talented vert skater.
As we previously reported, The Boonies head honcho and professional skateboarder challenged everyone to successfully drop-in to his massive 11-feet of vert on a 5-foot transition obstacle.
All of the core skaters and haters kept saying they could land it without an issue, but only two skaters showed up to take on the challenge.
On the other hand, Garrett did his very best to nail it but ended up not continuing after Naffziger-Brown bailed and was destroyed by the intense impact.
During the interview conducted by Pool, Naffziger-Brown talked about his broken femur. He sustained the injury, attempting the $10,000 drop-in challenge.
Despite the challenges the vert skater encountered during his hospital stay, his girlfriend remained a constant source of comfort and support, tending to his needs with love and compassion. She was always there for him with a kind and caring attitude, making it easier for him to cope with tough times and bounce back more quickly.
We had hoped that professional skateboarder Jordan Maxham would win the $10,000 prize, but Richie Jackson refused to fly him out.
Watch the video below to hear Naffziger-Brown explain his best efforts and the outcome.
