Professional skateboarder and April skateboards head honcho Shane Oneill emerged victorious in the 2022 Men's Skateboard Street Podium competition.
Although the 32-year-old pro skater wasn't expecting a gold medal this year, the judges gave him high scores as he nailed impressive switch stances on the small obstacle and in massive handrails.
O'Neill spearheaded a clean backside bigspin down a handrail to fakie, a little sketchy 360 flip up a bank, nollie heelflip backside lipslide to fakie, and a substantial big flip to forwards in another handrail, with a nollie frontside heelflip and his last trick, nollie backside 180 heelflip on the eight stairs.
On the other hand, Vincent Milou and Olympian Yuto Horigome did their best, but it wasn't enough to take the top spot.
Congratulations to Shane O'Neill for receiving the gold medal in this year's X Games Men's Skateboard Street finals.
