After being on Etnies for over 25 years, Sandlot Times head honcho Ryan Sheckler has officially parted ways with Sole Technology to join Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg's high-ranking sports utility brand, "Municipal."
Sole Tech's Etnies brand has already removed Shecks from their website, citing that the Red Bull rider is no longer sponsored.
Shecks also took to his social media platforms and announced his partnership with Municipal.
With Wahlberg's fame and fortune as an actor and entrepreneur in the corporate world, Sheckler will also benefit from the rise of the company to help sponsor skateboarders.
The Municipal brand will soon have a skateboarding team with Sheckler's hard work. Nike will now have a huge competition in the skateboard shoe market.
Shecks posted, "Dream Plan Hustle Repeat! 🙏🏻🙌🏻"
After the 34-year-old pro skater posted the partnership with Marky Mark's Municipal brand, he worked with Etnies to inform the skateboarders that he is no longer part of Sole Tech.
A shared Instagram post stated, "On behalf of Etnies and myself, with love and gratitude, the time has come to part ways, and we wish each other the best in our next chapters."
