After leaving Welcome skateboards last March 26, 2022, professional skateboarder Ryan Lay officially joined Jerry Hsu's new board skate company Sci-Fi Fantasy and provided an eye-popping video part.
"Some personal news: I’ve left Welcome skateboards." Lay posted. "Nothing but love for everyone who made the brand what it is and to all the people and shops who supported us over the years."
"I’d just about thrown in the towel when I got on Welcome and now here we are all these years later. Seance and especially Fetish were two projects that meant a lot to me and I’m incredibly grateful we had the time and resources to make those happen — basically the best thing you could hope for as a skater." he said. "Wishing everyone the best, too many people to name."
The new promo for Sci-Fi Fantasy added fortitude when Hsu posted on Instagram the video with Lay's signature board for the brand.
"His pro board is available now at shops and on our site." Hsu said.
