The long wait is over for the digital skateboarding competition on Ryan Sheckler's private park via Red Bull's codified event.
After the successful launch of Sheckler's park contest called "Solus" via Red Bull skate's blessing, they have decided to bring it back for season two.
The intense skate tournament premieres today and will give fans the excitement to delve deeper into the world of the new skaters involved and learn more about the trick, tactics, and struggles to win "Solus."
The name Solus, translated from its Latin origin, means alone or unaccompanied, which reflects the unique solo competition format of Red Bull Solus. This year, Red Bull Solus welcomed seven additional skaters in a new division.
Challenging 17 of the world’s leading men’s and women’s professional skateboarders competing to deliver the best continuous line from the SC Sandlot, Sheckler’s private skate park in San Clemente, California.
“Red Bull Solus is one of the most mentally and physically challenging contests in skateboarding,” Sheckler said. “Last year, everyone was put to the test and had to conquer the unknown of skating alone and against themselves. This year, we expanded the lineup and invited more of the top skaters.”
