Over the past several months, he has been spending more time back on his skateboard, skating street spots again, reconnecting with the homies, and focusing on living a better life.

Along with getting back into skating, Wenning has also been attending church and continuing his commitment to Alcoholics Anonymous. He has been open about wanting to stay on the right path and keeping his faith at the center of the changes he has made.

Recently, Wenning shared another message that reflects where his mindset is today.

Quoting from a Christian teaching, he wrote:

The message speaks about how past mistakes, failures, and painful experiences do not have to define someone's future.

Instead, they can become part of a person's testimony of redemption through faith in Jesus Christ, showing how God can use even the worst moments in someone's life for good.

For those who have followed Wenning's story over the years, the quote carries extra meaning.

He has been honest about the struggles that led him away from skateboarding and the consequences that followed. Now, he appears focused on staying sober, growing in his faith, and making better choices each day.

At a time when satanic imagery and references to Satan continue to appear throughout parts of skateboarding, it is refreshing to see someone openly speaking about Jesus Christ and giving God the credit for changing his life.

Wenning seems determined to leave his old life behind and continue moving forward with faith, humility, and gratitude.

Many people enjoy seeing him back in the streets doing what he loves while also sharing encouraging messages that may help others who are dealing with their own struggles.

Hopefully, he continues finding strength through God and keeps building on the positive changes he has already made. Amen.
