Is teaming up with DoorDash a smart business decision for Office Skate Shop?
With more skate shops shutting their doors over the last few years, many shop owners have been looking for different ways to reach customers.

Shopping habits have changed and plenty of skaters now expect fast delivery for almost everything they buy.
Office Skate Shop appears to be taking that into account by partnering with DoorDash.
The shop recently announced that it has officially partnered with DoorDash and says it is now the first skate shop in the United States to be available on the platform.
Customers will be able to order skateboarding products through DoorDash and have them delivered without having to visit the shop in person.
For skaters who need a fresh deck, bearings, grip tape, hardware, wheels, or other essentials, that could make getting replacement parts much quicker.
Rather than waiting several days for traditional shipping, local customers may soon have another option when they need something the same day.

The partnership could also help Office Skate Shop reach people who may have never visited the store before.
Since millions of users already browse DoorDash for food, convenience items, and retail products, adding a skate shop to the app gives Office another way to get in front of new customers.
At a time when many independent skate shops are dealing with rising costs and increased competition from large online retailers, finding new ways to sell products can make a real difference.

Bringing skateboarding products onto a delivery platform could help generate additional sales while giving customers another convenient way to shop.
Office Skate Shop shared the announcement on social media, writing:

If the partnership proves successful, it will be interesting to see if other core shops decide to follow a similar approach and bring their products to delivery apps as well.
