Skateboarding legend Jamie Thomas is the only one who tried the most significant drop of all time back in 1997, known as the "Leap of Faith."

Thomas' massive mellon grab ollie was featured on Zero skateboards' seminal video called "Thrill of It All" and immediately made it to the skateboarding history books. Overnight, Thomas became an industry celebrity.

Although the chief didn't land his trick as his board snapped after landing, the onlookers began to cheer, and fans went bonkers with awe as no one has ever tried a massive gap in the late 90s.

Since then, no one has tried to skate the iconic spot until it was demolished. Hence, a skateboarder named Jace DeTomasso saw a new spot in Miami that looked eerily similar to the Leap of Faith gap in San Diego and ollied it like a maniac.

In a new YouTube video of Jenkem, they investigated whether the new Leap of Faith is bigger than the last spot in SD. To put all the curious commenters to bed, they measured the drop to compare it to the OG Leap of Faith.
