Mystery Skateboards' professional skateboarder Luis “Moose” De Los Reyes has been skating for years, and anyone who follows him knows how much time he spends working on his board.
Lately, his focus has been locked on The Boonies Skate Night 3 contest, where the Game of S.K.A.T.E. will decide who takes home three thousand dollars.
In a new clip, Moose is shown putting in the work to make sure his tricks are on point. The timing is personal for him.
As we previously reported, Jeff Dechesare claimed the top prize in the last Skate Night 1, and that lit a fire under Moose.
If he wants that three racks, he’s got to come in locked, stay consistent, and make sure every trick lands clean.
The contest is more than bragging rights. After recently losing his job at Home Depot, the prize money would go a long way in supporting his family.
On top of that, he just became a father, which has shifted the way he looks at everything. Skating is still fun, but now there is an added motivation to win.
Fans have always respected Moose for his style and the way he brings creativity to every line. Seeing him back in practice mode has drawn excitement because everyone knows what he’s capable of when he’s focused.
The Boonies Game of S.K.A.T.E. is shaping up to be a big night, and Moose is stepping in with every reason to give it his all.
If he brings the same determination to the event that he shows in practice, he will be tough to beat when the spotlight hits The Boonies floor.
