More skateboarders are becoming rappers, thanks to professional skateboarder Jereme Rogers who opened the door. It’s become popular, and now Lil Uzi Vert is jumping on board with backing from Vans Off The Wall.

As we previously reported, Lil Uzi Vert’s been spotted skating more often, working on tricks like kickflips and 30 front shuvs in the streets and even in a few lowkey spots.

Whether it's a sketchy landing or a clean pop, Uzi’s clearly out there putting time in on the board while keeping his music career rolling.

After a bit of a break and some time off the radar - including a hospitalization that had fans concerned. it seems like Uzi’s back and linking up with none other than the Vans Off The Wall.

The announcement came quietly, but it makes sense. Uzi’s always had a style that matches the Off The Wall attitude, and he’s been wearing their shoes for a minute now.

From loose-fit cargos to custom grip setups, his whole skate getup looks straight out of a local scene rather than a label-engineered promo.

What this partnership includes hasn’t been fully laid out yet, but early looks suggest we might get some kind of capsule drop, a video project, or both.

For now, you can check out Uzi’s latest skate edit. It’s raw, casual, and just him having fun with the homies. No big production. Just clips of him learning, falling, landing, and laughing.

And while some still like to debate whether Uzi’s “really a skater,” it’s pretty clear at this point:

The good homie’s not doing it for clout - he’s doing it ‘cause he likes it.

You can catch the skate edit below. Keep an eye out for whatever’s next. This link-up might not follow the usual script, but that’s kind of the point.
