Chicago-born rapper Lil Durk was recently spotted on the basketball court sporting a unique and unexpected attire. Instead of the traditional fashion attire, Lil Durk dressed in a broken skateboard, which became a statement piece for the game.

The rapper, singer, and songwriter, known for his contributions to the drill music genre, has always been known for his unique style and fashion sense. However, his latest appearance at the basketball court has left many of his fans in awe.

The 30-year-old's outfit consisted of a broken skateboard turned into a pair of blank decks, a matching VROY chain, black pants, and other necessities.

Fans quickly took to social media to express their excitement about Lil Durk's unconventional outfit. Many praised the rapper for his creativity and originality, while others were impressed by his effort in customizing the broken skateboard into a functional piece of clothing.

However, the core skateboarding community and skate elitists were not having it and were disappointed with the celebrity for using the skateboard as a fashion statement.

In Lil Durk's defense, he used the broken skateboard to pay homage to Tyre Nichols, whom the five police officers killed in Memphis.
