Triple OG pro skater Kristian Svitak is skating like a good homie half his age and with more style than most of them.
At 50 years old, he just released a new gnarly video part. It does not try to show off or follow trends. It shows what skating can look like when it comes from a place of love, experience, and a deep connection to the streets.
Svitak met a filmer in Detroit who shared the same mindset. They filmed a few tricks together, not really thinking beyond the moment. No strict plan. Just two skaters holding it down and documenting what came naturally.
"I've always thought it would be interesting to push myself as hard as possible and release a full part at the age of 50," Kristian said. "As we kept filming, my ambitions grew. I pushed myself harder and we enjoyed the process of being two friends on the streets with a common goal. Skate, film and live in the moment. Do it as much as possible before our time runs out."
You can see the years of skating in every clip. It is not about big tricks or trying to outdo anyone.
It is about staying connected to something that still matters. The spots, the lines, the pacing of it all reflect someone who knows exactly what he wants from a session.
This part is not trying to keep up. It is just pure skateboarding from someone who never stopped.
