According to reports, Kitakyushu is stepping up its game in the skateboarding scene!

World Skate has named the city as a contender for WST Street 2025, and talks are wrapping up.

If Kitakyushu gets the nod, it’ll be in the mix with other cool cities that have hosted epic street skateboarding events.

This isn’t Kitakyushu’s first rodeo with big international events. The city has already made a name for itself in breaking and parkour, turning into a hotspot for urban sports culture.

Landing WST Street 2025 would be a major win for Kitakyushu, offering skateboarders and fans an awesome venue to catch some world-class corporate skateboarding.

If all goes well, Kitakyushu might just become the next must-visit spot for street skateboarding. So keep an eye out for the big announcement!
