Zero Skateboards pro Kanaan Dern is celebrating a special moment away from skating as he and his wife, Laise Ventorin Dern, mark eight years of marriage.

While Kanaan spends plenty of time filming video parts, traveling, and skating spots around the world, he also enjoys sharing moments with his family.

This week, the couple celebrated their anniversary and reflected on everything they have built together over the last eight years.

The love birds shared a heartfelt message on social media celebrating the occasion and just being thankful for everything they have experienced as a family.

They wrote:

"8 years married, and so many more to come 🫶🏼

Thank you for being my best friend, my greatest adventure, and the most amazing dad to Ozzy! I’m so grateful for the life we’ve built together 🙌🏻

Here’s to forever! I love you @kanaandern ❤️"

The couple has become proud parents to their son, Ozzy, and their anniversary post gave fans another look at the family life they have created together.

Core heads and the homies stopped by the comments to congratulate them and wish them many more happy years ahead.

It is always nice seeing skaters celebrate personal achievements alongside everything they accomplish on their boards.

Congratulations to Kanaan and Laise on eight years of marriage. Here's wishing them and their family many more happy years together.
