Violet Skateboards pro skater Kader Sylla recently made a trip to Africa with the homies, sharing moments from the experience through a vlog that gave fans a closer look at the trip.

In the video, he gave thanks to everyone involved in putting the trip together and those who were part of it along the way. He mentioned:

The squad spent time in the streets, hanging out, meeting people, and enjoying the local surroundings.
It was a relaxed setting where everyone was just enjoying the day and connecting with the community.
At one point, they visited Cocody where they met with mayor Jean-Marc Yacé.
During the visit, they all chopped it up, did a small demo on the stairs outside the Mayor’s office, and photos were taken together.
The moment ended with Kader receiving an award as recognition for his influence and presence in skateboarding on a global level.
The trip was another meaningful chapter in Kader’s growing presence around the world. Core heads also got to see a more personal side of him as he interacted with locals, shared time with friends, and experienced a different environment beyond video parts.
