As we previously reported, skateboarding is not just something Democratic Mayor Marco DiBattista does it is part of who he is.

He started as a young skate rat in Pennsauken and worked his way up to becoming both mayor and committeeman all while staying true to his love of skating.

YouTube skater Josh Katz has now given fans a look at his latest episode featuring DiBattista.

Katz highlights how the mayor helped build Pennsauken’s skatepark as a real piece of town infrastructure.

This was never just a side project it is a space designed for the community where people can enjoy skateboarding while contributing to the revitalization of the town.

Katz shared that one hour Mayor DiBattista is filming clips at the park and the next he is in a suit handling county and state business.

None of it is for show. He approaches public office in the same way he approaches skating showing up, doing the work, and raising the bar for the people around him.

Episode 16 of Skaters With Jobs gives viewers a look at Mayor DiBattista hard at work between his city responsibilities and life at the skatepark.

Stills from the episode capture him balancing both worlds naturally and effectively. Skaters can also look forward to Episode 17 which will be released soon.

If you know Mayor DiBattista, you already know he keeps it one hundred. This episode shows the true political skater who shreds, looks out for his community, and actually shows up instead of just talking about it.

Katz Posted:

"As a two-time mayor and current committeeman, Marco DiBattista helped build Pennsauken’s skatepark—not as a pet project, but as real infrastructure for a town he’s focused on revitalizing and turning into a skateboarding destination. One hour he’s filming clips at the park, the next he’s in a suit handling county and state business. None of it is performative. He approaches public office the way he approaches skating: show up, do the work, and raise the bar for the people around you.

Stills from episode 16 of Skaters With Jobs. Episode 17 dropping soon."
