The eco-friendly skateboarding shoe brand Cariuma has gained attention in the skate world through its partnership with The Berrics.

The brand also worked with professional skateboarders like Mike Vallely, Luan Oliveira, Lucas Rabelo and more, which helped their shoes get noticed by skaters.

With guidance from Steve Berra and Eric Koston, the skaters featured the brand in campaigns that brought it more visibility.

After the partnership with The Berrics, Cariuma continued to maintain a presence in the skate community up until November 16, 2025, when their last Instagram post appeared featuring Luan Oliveira.

Unfortunately, Luan has since left the brand and is now a free agent.

Shortly after, Cariuma’s website stopped accepting new orders, showing a message to visitors that reads:

"This website is not accepting new orders.

We're here to support our customers with existing orders.

You can reach out to our Support team using the chat widget for help with:

  • Order information

  • Exchanges

  • Returns

  • Redeeming previously issued gift cards

Thank you for being part of our community — it truly means more than you know."

At this time, it is unclear if Cariuma will start taking new orders again. The brand seems focused on helping those with existing purchases and making sure current customers can get assistance as needed.

Meanwhile, with top three corporate skate shoe heavyweights like Nike, Adidas, and New Balance dominating the game, Cariuma and the rest of the core skate shoes are struggling to survive.

Skateboarders are left waiting for news about the brand’s plans, and we at ShreddER will make sure you stay updated.
