Vert skateboarding legend Jason Ellis shared some sad news with his followers: his dog Chickle has passed away.

In a heartfelt post, Ellis wrote:

"Toughest dog I ever met has gone to the spirit world.
I’ll love you forever Chickle AKA Chicken wing Ellis.

You were the best dog to me and my family 💔"

Anyone who’s followed Ellis over the years knows how much he cared about his pets.

Chickle wasn’t just a dog. She was part of the family. He often shared moments with her on social media, showing a side of him that fans appreciated: loyal, real, and deeply connected to the animals in his life.

Chickle had her own personality, as Ellis nicknamed her “Chicken wing,” which already says a lot about the bond they shared.

While Ellis is widely known for his gnarly skating, wild radio days, and MMA fights, posts like this remind people that underneath it all, he’s just a guy who really loved his dog.

Losing a pet hits hard, especially one that’s been there through thick and thin. Chickle clearly meant a lot to him and his family.

Rest in peace, Chickle. You’ll be missed.
