There are many speculations that the coronavirus came from bats but it was never proved that it was really from animal consumption. According to Vox, there is some evidence that it went from a bat to a pangolin before infecting a human, while viruses are very good at jumping between species it is very rare for a deadly one to make a journey to humans. That’s because it would need all these hosts to encounter each other at some point so that’s where the wet market comes in which is in the Wuhan Chinese market.
However, some say that the coronavirus was a human-made from labs as a bioweapon and as tweeted by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a former president of Iran and I quote “It is clear to the world that the mutated coronavirus was produced in lab, manufactured by the warfare stock houses of biological war belonging to world powers, & that it constitutes a threat on humanity more destructive than the other weapons that target humanity.”
"The WHO must immediately identify the lab that produced and spread the virus, as well as the other centers that supported the biological war against humanity."@DrTedros pic.twitter.com/bfATyFxSwL

Some say that Dean Koontz predicted the outbreak in his 1981 book “The Eyes of Darkness” as a man-made weapon but it was a fiction novel and as per CNN International he did not predict the coronavirus because the mortality rate for coronavirus is not even close to 100%.

In this time of crisis, it is imperative that we all need to comply with self-quarantine because this is all about our health as well as our friends' and families' physical condition, economy and survival. All over the world people are now in catastrophe and if you think that the government needs to do something and if you think that you have an idea that you can solve the problem, please volunteer and help because ranting is not going to make things any better but it will cause chaos so you will be just stressing other people. We are all stressed out in the situation – please create a movement and make a difference just like what Bela Padilla did, post it in social media if you like so you can encourage other people to do the same.
Always remember that we are in a third world country and comparing it to the first world countries they are also having difficulties handling the virus - Italy is staggering under outbreak with lack of resources.
As reported by Reuters
With 24,747 cases and 1,809 deaths by Sunday - a rise of 368 or 25% in the death toll in just 24 hours - Italy’s experience has offered an alarming example for other European countries which have begun seeing sharp rises in cases over recent days.
Lombardy, the heavily populated area around the financial capital Milan, has been the worst-affected region with 1,218 deaths. Of those, 252 were recorded in the last 24 hours.
The Philippines is not even close to what other countries are dealing with so having a community quarantine is the solution to avoid the spread of the virus.
Don’t Panic But Never Ignore It
Just like the old saying goes: Don’t panic it’s organic. But joking aside, this is a serious problem and we're going to need help from one another. We all need to act like we already have it even though we feel that we are safe and healthy to avoid the expansion of the virus. Hence, not everyone has been exposed to covid-19 so be mindful and have a self-awareness that if someone coughs that doesn’t mean they are infected, although caution and preventative measures are extremely important. Always wash your hands with soap often, and keep surfaces clean and disinfected.
Stop Complaining and Cooperate
Frontliners in our country are working really hard to help all of us from viruses and they are at risk from all pathogens. They understand our situation and it’s very unfortunate that they have to be in the streets because they are just doing their jobs - kindly follow because this is for us to slow down the spreading of the virus and as stated in a 1997 editorial in the British Medical from Medical Xpress that people can survive without any food for 30-40 days, as long as we are properly hydrated. Despite the epidemic, the Department of Employment and Labor announced the guidelines on the adjustment measures program for affected workers due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019.
Stop The Hate and Help The Poor If You Can
Many people in the Philippines are poor and a lot of people in the streets have nowhere to go so if you are just going to hate nothing will happen and it will just get things worse – we all need to be a good example since skateboarders are being frowned upon by some normal people. If you have extra food, sanitizer or anything that can help the poor kindly do so as a give back to the ones in need since they are susceptible and cannot afford to have stocks of food but don’t forget to have a proper hygiene after you have provided a helping hand.
Stay At Home
Staying at home will help limit the spread of the bacillus disease to friends, the large scale of the community, and particularly the ones that have a lower immune system and the elderly since they are more vulnerable. Do whatever it takes to avoid going outside even if you want to shred the streets and as skateboarders, we want to skate everyday but for now let us all steer clear of skating because according to CNBC, there’s a new study that coronavirus lives for hours in air particles and days on surfaces.
Help Your Sponsors and Local Skate Shops
Just like other businesses all over the world, we are all in crisis but that shouldn’t stop you from being creative on helping your local shop and the companies that support you. Eunice Quilantang the CEO of Quilla announced the release of the 13th-month pay on all his employees and the skate team to help them in times of emergency – having a good employer means a lot and hopefully, all big or small companies will do the same. Try your best to help the skate companies by promoting the brand on social media since we are all always on the internet, tell the kids to purchase online and be safe.
If you think that I missed something please put that on the comment section for us to know what the experts have to say.
