The late skate legend Harold Hunter’s Foundation has teamed up with SHUT and photographer Charlie Samuels on a limited edition collection honoring New York skate history.
The collection features Samuels’ iconic 1989 photo of Harold Hunter skitching a yellow cab with the Twin Towers in the background.
The image captures a piece of NYC history that has taken on deeper meaning over the years.
The release includes a collector’s skateboard deck, T shirt, and canvas tote, designed with Seth Neary of Driven Studio.
Only 100 of each item are available. Preorders are open through September 18 or while supplies last, with orders expected to ship by mid October.
All net proceeds will support Harold Hunter Foundation programs, with support from The Skatepark Project.
