Skateboarding Olympian Gustavo Ribeiro is now riding for Thank You Skate Co., joining forces with Torey Pudwill and Daewon Song following his departure from Jart Skateboards in February 2024, ending a 12-year chapter with the brand.
The announcement dropped through a post shared by all parties, making it clear that the move wasn’t just a business deal. It’s something everyone’s genuinely excited about.
Ribeiro’s known for his consistency and ability to put down some of the cleanest tricks in the game. And now, with Thank You Skate Co., he’s linking up with two of the most respected names in skateboarding.
There’s something cool about this connection - Daewon, who’s been inspiring generations with technical creativity, and Pudwill, who’s got style and control for days, bringing someone like Ribeiro into their brand. It just clicks.
The post read:
"Stocked to be part of @thankyouskateco team !!
Wanna thank @toreypudwill and @daewon1song for the opportunity, can’t wait for what the future holds
Boards available now, link in bio‼️
Full length thank you video dropping soon 🤫"
While there’s no full-length part out yet, the mention of an upcoming Thank You video definitely has people looking forward to seeing what Gustavo brings to the table.
Knowing his track record, it’s going to be something worth watching more than once.
It also feels like a good fit personality-wise.
Thank You has always had a grounded, real feel to it. It’s never been about hype for hype’s sake.
And Ribeiro’s always carried himself in a similar way. Just letting the skating do the talking, not trying to be louder than necessary.
No doubt, this is a solid move all around. Fans get a new chapter of Gustavo’s skating to look forward to, and the Thank You crew just got even stronger.
