Kareem Campbell just showed some serious love to Kevin "Spanky" Long and Baker Skateboards, and for good reason.

The legendary skater took to social media to thank Spanky and Andrew Reynolds' Baker brand for hooking him up with the Baker x Spanky x City Stars signature board.

For those who might not know the backstory, Spanky once rolled with City Stars, Kareem's brand, when he was coming up in the game.

That was back in the early 2000s, when City Stars had one of the heaviest teams and a fresh take on skate culture. Even though Spanky moved on and made a name for himself with Baker, he never forgot his roots.

Now, years later, he’s paid homage to that part of his history with a signature board that brings it all full circle.

Kareem, a true legend who influenced countless skaters with his style and innovation, made sure to give Spanky and Baker their props for the love.

Seeing the City Stars logo back in the mix on a modern board collab speaks to the deep connections that skateboarding builds over time.

It’s more than just a piece of wood. It’s a nod to the past, a connection between generations, and a reminder that respect in skateboarding goes a long way.

Fans of both Campbell and Spanky were hyped to see this appreciation post, with many chiming in to show their own respect for what City Stars and Baker have contributed to skateboarding.

For the City Stars boss, this isn’t just about a board. It’s about recognizing the people who remember where they came from and continue to carry that history forward.

Whether you grew up watching Campbell’s legendary parts or have been following Spanky’s evolution with Baker, this collab is a solid reminder that skateboarding has a way of keeping its roots alive.

Props to Spanky and Baker for making it happen, and much respect to Kareem for always keeping it real.
