Girl Skateboards is back on the road with their latest project called “Neverywhere” and it’s exactly what it sounds like – the crew covering miles and stopping in all kinds of places, big and small, along the way.
What started as a last chance filming trip before a tight deadline quickly turned into a full drive across the map. From Torrance out to Nashville, then up through Indy, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, and even Annapolis, it was a nonstop run filled with demos, shop signings, park openings, and plenty of detours with friends.
It wasn’t just about stacking clips either. Birthdays got celebrated, new parks got broken in, and the van clocked more miles than anyone probably wanted to count. The whole trip feels less like a strict mission and more like an excuse to take one more lap together, skating new spots and catching up with everyone along the way.
The lineup is heavy too. You’ve got Simon Bannerot, Niels Bennett, Mike Carroll, Griffin Gass, Breana Geering, Rick Howard, Cory Kennedy, Sean Malto, Tyler Pacheco, Evan Smith, and Matteo Vandeputte all hitting the streets. With Daniel Policelli and Robin Wilson behind the lens, plus Carroll grabbing some extra clips, the filming keeps everything raw and fun. Policelli also took on the edit, so the flow of the video matches the kind of trip it was – a mix of skate sessions, hangouts, and everything in between.
If you’ve been waiting for something new from Girl, this is worth checking out.
