The clip had the Gifties, Gifted Hater’s hardcore fan crew, going off online, blasting Brink non-stop that got real personal.
The heat was too much, and Brink had to step back from social media for a bit.
He shut down comments and went dark, just trying to dodge the attacks from the haters calling him out.
When he spoke out again, he didn’t sugarcoat it:
“Pro tip: learn how the law works before spending weeks making a two-hour libelous, privacy violating, copyright infringing video that defends predators and puts abuse victims at risk.”

He called out the reckless behavior in a way only someone who’s seen the fallout firsthand could.
The removal of “DaBrinky” is a rare moment where Gifted Hater actually got called out and had to take a step back.
The Gifties of course, weren’t happy, but the fact that the video is gone shows that speaking up can actually make a difference.
Brink might be quiet on the timeline for now, but he’s not disappearing.
He’s still keeping his eyes on the people in the skateboarding world who abuse their power.
He said that he’s committed to shining light on the truth, protecting victims, and holding abusers accountable, even if that means dealing with more hate from the Gifties down the line.

For the community watching all of this, it’s a moment that reminds everyone that standing up matters.
Even when the trolls and diehard fans get gnarly, someone calling out bad behavior can actually tip the scales.
Brink isn’t done, and for now, this feels like a small win for anyone who has been tired of seeing people get away with harmful actions in skateboarding.
