As we previously reported, Ema Kawakami landed back-to-back 900s in practice, becoming the first to do so at just 9 years old.
This time, the Kobe, Japan native has achieved the first-ever back-to-back 900s in a contest, live in front of an audience. This trick is even more challenging due to the immense pressure.
Kawakami nailed the trick without a revert. The clean 900-degree gnarly trick left skate legend Tony Hawk, the judges, and the crowd on the edge of their seats.
X Games posted, "Imagine doing THIS in front of @tonyhawk @selema & @paulzitzer
@ema__kawakami just became the first ever person to do THREE back-to-back 900’s at @thvertalert!"
