Content creator Samuel Weidenhofer recently met Dylan and his mother in a moment that turned into something much more meaningful.

Samuel had lost his wallet and asked if they had any money to help him out. Without hesitation, Dylan and his mum gave him $4.

Samuel was surprised by their kindness and wondered why they were willing to help when they were dealing with their own struggles.

Dylan’s mum shared that doing good for others brings blessings in return. Those words stayed with Samuel, and it led to a conversation about Dylan’s life, his health, and everything he has gone through.

That conversation allowed Samuel to learn about Dylan’s incredible story.

After hearing about his battles with cancer and his love for skateboarding, Samuel helped make something special happen by introducing Dylan to skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.

For Dylan, meeting Tony Hawk was a special moment connected to something that has helped him stay strong through difficult times.

Dylan has shared that God and skating have helped him through his cancer fight, giving him hope and motivation during some of his toughest days.

Dylan has been battling cancer for nearly 11 years. He has faced cancer twice, gone through many hospital stays, difficult treatments, and a life saving bone marrow transplant.

Although Dylan overcame cancer, the effects of his treatments continue to impact his daily life. He still requires specialist care, hospital visits, surgeries, medications, and ongoing support.

His mother made the difficult choice to leave her career so she could become Dylan’s full time caregiver.

As a single mother, she has dedicated herself to making sure Dylan gets the care he needs, but losing her income has created a difficult financial situation for their family.

Medical costs, travel to appointments, everyday expenses, and Dylan’s continued care have placed a heavy burden on them.

After learning more about Dylan and his mother’s situation, Samuel decided to start a fundraiser to support their needs.

Dylan’s story has touched many people because of his kindness, faith, and love for skateboarding.

Through his connection with Samuel and meeting Birdman, Dylan has received a moment of happiness during a difficult time.

Now, Samuel hopes the community can come together to support Dylan and his mother as they continue facing the challenges ahead.
