Rivalries and feuds have always been a part of the skateboarding culture. However, a recent call-out by skateboarding legend Duane Peters to none other than Tony Hawk has taken the skate scene by storm.
Peters' dramatic and intense message, laden with threats and challenges, has left skaters intrigued and bewildered.
Peters, often called the "Master of Disaster," recently posted a message on his social media account directed at the Birdman.
The message read: "HEY HEY HEY TONYA - YOU OWE ME 20 G - pay me or DIE/skate or die concept - YER WORST NIGHTMARES ARE A CUM CUM COMMING LITTLE 'EARL !"
While it's clear that this message contains a demand for payment and a reference to the classic "Skate or Die" video game, the language used is aggressive and cryptic.
To many, it remains a mystery what exactly Peters is asking for and why he has chosen such an extreme tone.
