After landing the world’s coldest and highest kickflip on Mount Everest, Darby Allin is taking on a completely different kind of challenge.
He is building a free public skatepark in McDonough, Georgia, the town he has called home since 2017.
Skateboarding has always been more than just a hobby for Darby. It has been a way to connect with people, explore creativity, and express himself.
Now he wants to make that opportunity available to everyone in his hometown, especially young people who might not have access to safe places to skate.
The new skatepark will be open to the public at no cost. The AEW superstar has been personally involved in the planning and design to make sure the space feels welcoming to beginners and core heads.
His hope is that the skatepark will become a place where the community can come together, learn from one another, and have fun outside.
Anyone who wants to support Darby’s project can contribute through donations. Every contribution helps with construction costs, safety equipment, and maintenance to ensure the skatepark remains a safe and enjoyable space for years to come.
This project reflects Darby’s commitment to giving back to the place that has been home to him for the past several years. It is an opportunity for residents to come together, celebrate creativity, and provide a new space for skateboarders of all ages.
After scaling Mount Everest in June 2025, Darby Allin is on a new mission: building a free public skatepark in McDonough, Georgia, his home since 2017.
