YouTube sensation Dan Corrigan recently got honest with his audience about something more personal.

While most people know him for skating spots across the city and putting out consistent content, he admitted in a new video that he has been struggling mentally.

He said he’s grateful to be able to make a living by doing what he loves, skating and filming.

But at the same time, he shared that he’s been going through what he described as a little bit of a mental breakdown.

It wasn’t a dramatic meltdown, but more like a quiet emotional weight that has been hard to carry.

Dan mentioned that he has been thinking about going back to the East Coast and getting a regular job, the kind of job he had before skating became his full-time thing.

He still wants to keep going with skateboarding and content creation, but admitted that it has been difficult lately. He described feeling really angry and said he just does not feel like talking to anyone.

A lot of people resonated with what he shared. One comment stood out that said there are millions of people going through the same thing where your brain wants to keep going but your body just feels like it is done. The comment called it frustrating as f**k.

Another person said the feeling reminded them of when they were quitting heroin and would go skate just to distract themselves. They said no matter how mentally strong you think you are, you still feel terrible all day every day and it becomes unbearable.

Dan is being honest with how he feels and trying to make sense of it. That honesty connected with a lot of viewers who have been through something similar.

You can watch the full video below. It is simple and real and might help someone feel less alone.
