Wheelchair skater Damian Muñoz showed everyone what skateboarding is all about after taking a gnarly slam during an adaptive skateboarding demonstration at the Halloween Skate Fest in Burbank, California.

The moment was captured on video and posted by blind skateboarder Coco Atama.

Atama shared the clip on social media along with a message praising Damian's skills and determination.

In the footage, Damian attempts a gap trick but takes a heavy slam after being pushed toward the obstacle.

The fall looks painful, but he does not let it stop him from trying again.

Taking a gnarly bail is part of skating. He gets back up, regains his composure, and gives the trick another attempt.

His willingness to get back out there is exactly what made the moment so memorable for everyone watching.

Coco was especially impressed with the attempt and described it as one of the coolest tricks of the night.

He also took the opportunity to introduce more people to Damian, whom he considers one of his favorite adaptive skaters.

Damian participates in both adaptive skateboarding and WCMX, a discipline that brings wheelchair skills into the world of action sports.

His ability to take on challenging obstacles and perform tricks shows just how much creativity and skill go into these disciplines.

The clip has also given viewers a chance to discover more about Damian's work in adaptive skateboarding and WCMX.

And judging by Damian's willingness to try again after that hard landing, he certainly gave the crowd something worth talking about.

"Everyone watch this. You need to check this out. This was the coolest trick of the night. I want to highlight one of my favorite adaptive skaters of all time. This is @damianaamunoz and he does both adaptive skateboarding and WCMX. He knows how to take a slam and come right back for the land. This is what skateboarding as a whole is about. Damian, myself, and @ant77nguyen put on an adaptive demo for the Halloween Skate Fest hosted by @pacificskateschool and @burbank_parksandrec where we brought the house down. I'm so grateful to Burbank for embracing adaptive skateboarding the way they do and to skateboarding for creating moments like this. Please follow Damian and stay up to date on his amazingness. And have a great day. I love you world!!! @neuroskateboarding @skate.inclusion @sk8_brd_bus @wheelz @worldwcmx @etnies @ambutechcanes @apple #WCMX #adaptiveskate #adaptive #athlete #pro"
