Skateboarding legend Daewon Song has been spending his time without a board sponsor and seems completely fine with it.
After his partnership with Torey Pudwill came to an end, the Thank You Skateboards brand also wrapped things up.

While Pudwill has since moved on and found back home with Plan B, Daewon is still without a board sponsor.
Even without that setup in place, he appears relaxed about where things stand. Instead of focusing on finding a new sponsor right away, he has been putting more attention into his own content and building his new YouTube channel.

It has become a space where he can share clips and moments directly with fans.
Daewon recently shared a post talking about how he feels about riding boards these days. He mentioned how he really appreciates every skateboard deck he gets and enjoys giving each one a proper send off before moving on to the next.
There is value in riding a board until it has nothing left to give for the skate rats and even the icon himself does it.
He wrote, “It’s been fun with no board sponsor and I really do appreciate every board I get! It’s important to give your old board its last ride. A clip from my new YT channel in profile. ///📱 by @djrunaway”
He also added, “I use my skateboard decks until they’ve had enough 😅🙏🏽! Appreciate all of you and I usually ride my board until razor tail!!!!!”
That approach reflects how he has always treated skating in a very personal way.
The idea of riding something until it is fully worn down is part of what makes his style feel authentic to many who follow his clips.
For now, Daewon continues sharing content on his own terms, focusing on skating, filming, and connecting with people through his channel while still riding every deck until it is completely finished.
