Girl Skateboards professional skateboarderCory Kennedy recently talked about his almost-iconic Thrasher cover that never happened.

In a chat with the Look Back Library YouTube channel, Kennedy revealed that a photo shot by Ben Colen in January 2013 was not an actual make but still made it to the skate bible's cover.

That month's Thrasher issue was all about Pretty Sweet, and Kennedy, along with the former Trunk boys of Girl and Chocolate team, scored covers.
