Despite having the past issues shattered by the fatal DUI crash that Cory Kennedy faced, the Girl skateboards company still supported its loyal rider through thick and thin.

Back in 2018, the Vashon Island native was sentenced to four years in prison after he lost control of the car and instantly killed its front-seat passenger, 45-year-old Preston "P-Stone" Maigetter.

“This will forever be the biggest mistake of my life,” professional skateboarder Kennedy said at his sentencing hearing, a report said in 2018.

In the wake of the controversy, a little over a year into his sentence. Kennedy got released on parole on April 19, 2021.

Kennedy still had a sluggish start after his penitentiary release, but he started to build a solid comeback with the help of his friends and family.

The Crailtap family responded and maintained their good relationship with the 31-year-old pro skater by not giving up on him after all the hurdles that happened.

Though Kennedy missed many opportunities while recovering from the past struggles, this situation sets up what should be a tremendous victory for him moving forward as long as he learned from his mistakes and failures.
