Stereo Skateboards co-founder Chris Pastras is showing how a little focus and balance can go a long way.
Over the past two months, he has committed to spending 2-3 days a week in the gym, 2-3 days on his skateboard, cutting back on fast food, and keeping his alcohol intake limited.
The result? A noticeable transformation that he is excited to share.

Pastras posted a side-by-side photo highlighting the change, joking about the "miserable guy on the right with the boated face and double chin."
He encouraged his followers to stay consistent and reminded them that small, steady efforts can show results faster than they might expect.
He also welcomed questions and offered motivation to anyone looking to make positive changes in their own life.
This approach is a contrast to some of the more notorious habits seen in skateboarding culture, where partying and substance use have often been part of the lifestyle.
While other pros manage to skate and live on their own thing, Pastras is proving that self-control and balance can coexist with a busy life on and off the board.
By making small but consistent changes like limiting alcohol and prioritizing both fitness and skateboarding, Pastras is showing that it’s possible to feel healthier and more energized without giving up what you love.
You already know that a little discipline can go a long way and that feeling better physically and mentally is something worth celebrating.
