Plan B pro skater Chris Joslin just wrapped up one of the strongest years of his career.
This year, he walked away with Skater of the Year and added Trick of the Year to the list, locking in a rare double win that does not happen often.
The Trick of the Year came from his now legendary tre flip featured in his “G MA” part on Thrasher Magazine’s YouTube channel.
As soon as the clip dropped, people were replaying it again and again.
The setup, the pop, and the control all came together in a way that felt unreal but still very much Joslin. It was the kind of trick that made skaters stop what they were doing just to watch it one more time.
Street League Skateboarding made it official with their announcement, calling it the tre flip heard round the world and naming Chris as the 2025 Trick of the Year winner.
Backed by Stake and Stake USA, the award recognized not just how hard the trick was, but how clean and confident it looked from start to finish.
Winning Skater of the Year on top of that only added to how strong 2025 was for him. Joslin stayed consistent all year, stacking parts, contest moments, and video clips that reminded everyone why he has been at the top for so long.
There was no single moment carrying his year. It was the full body of work that made it impossible to ignore.
The “G MA” part played a big role in both awards.
It showed Joslin skating with confidence, patience, and total control. Just solid street skating done at a very high level. The tre flip stood out, but the entire part helped set the tone for what ended up being his year.
For fans and other skaters, seeing one person take both Skater of the Year and Trick of the Year in the same season is special.
It does not happen often, and when it does, it usually means that skater had a major impact on the year. In 2025, that impact belonged to Joslin.
If this year showed anything, it is that he is still locked in, still hungry, and still capable of delivering moments that people will be talking about for a long time.
