Brooklyn Projects' Westchester spot got hit by some thieves in the early hours, and Dom DeLuca, the owner, is pretty mad about it.
He called the thieves "human pieces of garbage" and vented his frustration on social media.
DeLuca is not letting the setback bring him down. He's really determined to come back stronger and he's hoping the community will have his back.
He's asking everyone to help out the Melrose location while they figure out their next move.
DeLuca posted:
"Coming off a positive week and this happens…
Human pieces of garbage who can find the time to do shit like this but no time to get a job like 99% of us..

This morning at 4am .. my new Westchester location
@brooklynprojectswest was robbed .. hard enough dealing with the struggles of a new location … but this is just another minor setback .

The community is very tight and someone will know these people. Cops will not be called but it will handled the way these people deserve to be handled .

Seriously sucks that these dudes rather rob small businesses than add to society.

So today please go to @brooklynprojects Melrose for your skateboarding needs … as we figure out what to do next.

Thank you
