Sk8 Mafia OG pro skater Brandon Turner recently shared on social media about his past struggles with substance abuse and how alcohol surprisingly shaped his life.
The 42-year-old looked back through life's ups and downs, revealing that while alcohol once led him down a dark path, it also opened his eyes and ultimately helped him become the person he is today.
Despite the challenges, he doesn’t blame alcohol but instead sees it as a tough lesson that helped him grow.
Now a proud business owner, Turner runs Westside Recovery, where he helps others overcome their addictions.
Balancing his role as a business owner and a sponsored pro skateboarder, Turner continues to skate hard in the streets while supporting those in need.
His path from struggling with addiction to standing up for others proves that even the toughest times can lead to success.
