Skateboarding icon Bobby Puleo has always had an eye for the overlooked.
From his approach to skateboarding to his fascination with discarded objects, he’s built a reputation for finding meaning in things most people walk right past.
Now, he's bringing that same instinct to print with Found Photographs 1998-2024, a book capturing over two decades of unearthed imagery.
Puleo recently announced the release through his Instagram, writing, "Found Photographs 1998-2024. Available immediately. Only 81 made of this First Edition. Hit the link in the bio to cop. Good Luck. @same0ld @gutter_gallery"
That limited run means anyone hoping to snag a copy will need to act fast.
The book brings together a carefully selected mix of photos Puleo has collected over the years - lost snapshots, discarded prints, and other visuals that once belonged to someone, somewhere.
Puleo’s skate career has always been defined by a deep sense of observation.
His style, both on a board and off, is about seeing what others miss. That same mentality carries over into this collection, where each image holds a bit of mystery.
Who took these photos? How did they end up where he found them? There are no clear answers, but that’s part of what makes the book intriguing.
For those familiar with Puleo’s past projects, this feels like a natural extension of what he's been doing for years.
With only 81 copies available, this one is sure to disappear quickly. Those lucky enough to grab a copy will get a piece of Puleo’s ongoing exploration of what’s left behind and what it still has to say.
