The Ben Raemers Foundation is back with the third installment of Feeling Scene, this time bringing the conversation to San Jose. One of Ben’s second homes.
A solid crew of skateboarders, including Raney Beres, Remy Taveira, Chris Athans, Nestor Judkins, Caswell Berry, Jose Rojo, Sean Greene, and Eddie Cernicky, came together to celebrate skateboarding, community, and mental health awareness.
At the heart of the visit was a skate jam at Roosevelt Skatepark, where none other than skate legend Ron Allen joined in to hype up the locals.
But this wasn’t just about throwing down tricks and having a good time - though there was plenty of that.
The foundation took the opportunity to talk with local skaters about mental health, the importance of support systems, and what resources are available in the area.
For many, skateboarding is more than just an activity. It’s an outlet, a connection, and sometimes even a lifeline.
The Ben Raemers Foundation continues to create spaces where these conversations can happen, reminding everyone that reaching out for support is just as important as learning a new trick.
Feeling Scene 3 was filmed and edited by Matt Eversole, with additional footage from Austin Gardner, Carson Lee, Robert Murphy, and Ricardo Rodriguez.
Huge shoutout to everyone involved in making this happen—these conversations matter, and the impact is real.
Keep an eye out for more from the Ben Raemers Foundation as they continue to bring mental health awareness to skate communities everywhere.
