Austrian diabolic death magic master Belphegor has been nominated for the prestigious Amadeus Austrian Music Awards 2023.
Formed in 1991, Belphegor has become known for its unique blend of blackened death metal music and its intense and often controversial live performances.
Over the years, they have released a string of critically acclaimed albums, including "Necrodaemon Terrorsathan," "Bondage Goat Zombie," and "Blood Magick Necromance."

Belphegor is nominated as "Hard & Heavy," alongside fellow metal bands Harakiri for the Sky, Pungent Stench, Our Survival Depends on Us, and Amon Amarth. This category recognizes the best in heavy metal, punk, hardcore, and other rock sub-genres.
