If you're a skate rat and you haven't listened to the interview with professional skateboarder Beatrice Domond on Living Proof Radio yet, you're seriously missing out.
The episode gives just enough of her story to keep you hooked but leaves plenty for you to take in firsthand.
Beatrice grew up skating mostly alone in a small Florida town. No big crew. No filmer on standby. Just her, her little brother, and a camera. She started sending clips to William Strobeck after finding his email online.
That move eventually connected her with Jason Dill and FA World Entertainment, and from there, things started to shift.
She’s been in early Supreme edits, has a deep history with FA, and even used to make her own FA shirts back in the day before she was ever sponsored.
Fast forward to now, and she’s got her own collection with the brand and officially turned pro in 2022.
She’s got her signature frontside 50-50 front shuv out trick, and she’s not following anyone else’s blueprint.
The episode is just an honest conversation with someone who really lives skateboarding.
There’s way more in there that’s worth hearing for yourself. If you’re a longtime fan or just now getting familiar, go check it out. Skaters need to hear this one.
