A lot of skateboarders online were quick to jump to conclusions when it appeared that professional skateboarder Beatrice Domond was no longer riding for FA World Entertainment.
Rumors started flying almost immediately, with some claiming that she had been kicked off the team.
Others pointed to the Mexico trip situation and tried to connect the dots without knowing the full story.
As we previously reported, YouTube skater Joa "Gifted Hater" Field and the Gifties were celebrating her departure from the brand.

Beatrice has dealt with criticism for years, with certain people constantly trying to discredit her accomplishments.
Some even claimed she was only on the FA/Hockey camp as a DEI hire rather than her actual skating, despite everything she has accomplished throughout her career.
Recently, Beatrice addressed the situation during an appearance on Good Morning General Chat and explained what really happened.
According to her, leaving FA was entirely her own decision.
After spending 13 years with the company, Beatrice felt it was simply time to do something different.
She explained that she had dedicated over a decade of her life to riding for the brand and reached a point where she wanted to explore other opportunities.
She noted that there was no bad blood between her and the people at FA/Hockey. In fact, she spoke highly of everyone involved and said she still loves the guys in the camp.
For her, the decision was not some dramatic breakup or behind the scenes conflict. It was simply a personal choice after spending such a large portion of her life with the same company.
Beatrice explained that she joined the team as a teenager and is now approaching her thirties.
A lot has changed during that time. She feels like she has grown as a person and wants the freedom to pursue things that interest her.
She also acknowledged that FA is ultimately Jason Dill and Anthony Van Engelen's company, and she wanted the opportunity to focus on her own interests.

During the conversation, she also spoke positively about Mike Piscitelli, calling him one of the best dudes ever.
She was asked about the Mexico trip that became the center of so much online speculation.
According to Beatrice, Sean had mentioned the trip to her, but by that point she was already no longer on the team.
That detail is important because one of the biggest rumors circulating online claimed that AVE supposedly gave her an ultimatum and said that if she did not attend the trip, she would be off the team.
Beatrice shut that story down and said it simply was not true.
She explained that she had already left FA months before the Mexico trip even happened. Because of that, the trip had absolutely nothing to do with her departure.
Despite no longer being on the team, she still saw the FA/Hockey crew during the trip discussions and was happy to see everyone return home safely.
Beatrice even joked that she had dodged a bullet regarding the trip, but quickly followed that up by saying she was glad everybody made it back safely.
She emphasized once again that the trip was not connected to her situation because she was already gone from the team months earlier.

The conversation also touched on rumors involving Cartiel.
Beatrice said she was happy that they were safe and made it back home and didn't get involved in any dangerous situations.
Like many of the other stories floating around online, there seemed to be plenty of speculation and very few facts.
Another thing Beatrice wanted people to understand was that she has never been the type of person to avoid skate trips.
She said she has always said yes whenever opportunities came up and has never turned down a skate trip in her life.
That is another reason why she found some of the rumors hard to believe.
She also addressed the perception some people have of her personality. According to Beatrice, there are people who think she believes she is better than everyone else or that she comes across as arrogant. She said that could not be further from the truth.

At the end of the day, she sees herself as a regular person who loves skateboarding.
She is not interested in internet drama and has little interest in arguing with strangers online.
She explained that responding to every negative comment would take too much time and effort, and it is simply not something she wants to spend her days doing.
The situation appears much simpler than many people wanted it to be.
After 13 years with FA, she felt it was time for a new chapter.
Despite all the rumors, speculation from Gifted Hater, she says the decision was hers and that there is still plenty of respect between her and the people she spent over a decade riding alongside.
