One of the top-notched skateboarding companies in the world that have been in the game for more than 20 years, Baker skateboards together with the admired professional sports photographer Atiba Jefferson has organized and set up to provide help and raised funds for Watts Community Core, a sports and recreation, a non-profit community organization that supports the youth and families of the Nickerson Gardens Housing Project and surrounding neighborhoods in Watts, Los Angeles.
"A HUGE thank you to everyone who purchased an Atiba Photo Board. Because of your generosity, we were able to donate $40,000 to Watts Community Core!!" Baker skateboards states on their official Instagram account.
Atiba Jefferson also has posted a thank you message on his official Instagram handle. "I want to say thank you so much to everyone who bought the baker skateboards photo series we donated $40,000 thank you Andrew Reynolds Kevin Spanky Long, Bakers skateboards for contributing ALL PROCEEDS to Watts Community Core a place where the families and volunteers inspire me to be a better person much love."

Giving back to the community is imperative, and Baker boys distribution has been doing it for a long time. This is the best thing that we all skateboarders can do to help. If you ever have extra money, please provide a helping hand to the ones in need. Whatever caused the situation of the people that are in need, they are also humans, and it should be our primary responsibility to help as many as we can. Skateboarders should always do good to be a better person and not just as a skater. The amount we donate does not matter because we can share whatever we can in our own capacity.
