Austyn Gillette has officially parted ways with Habitat Skateboards to join a Russian skater-owned brand Rassvet together with fellow pro skater Remmy Taveira.
Rassvet is the FA/Hockey kind of brand in Europe, and since Gillette didn't get approval from Elijah Berle due to their beef with the outfit and the late legend Dylan Reider's style, it makes sense for him to get in the team.
Gillette, well-known for contributing to Habitat, has bid farewell to his longstanding affiliation with the brand to explore new opportunities outside the U.S. skateboarding market.
Both skaters are now set to play crucial roles in enhancing Rassvet's global presence and contributing to the team's growth.
The Rassvet family recently celebrated the release of their full-length skate video, "Blue," at the Max Linder Panorama in Paris, France.
The premiere offered free entrance with limited seats available. Attendees were treated to complimentary drinks and an atmosphere filled with unlimited love.
The announcement of Gillette and Taveira's involvement with Rassvet was met with excitement and applause at the premiere.
The audience appreciated the dedication of these accomplished skateboarders to contribute to the growth and success of the brand. Congrats!
