Arisa Trew, the 14-year-old skateboarder who rocked the 2024 Paris Olympics, had her sights set on more than just a gold medal.
She revealed during a press conference that her parents promised her a pet duck if she won gold.
Excited about the prospect, she mentioned, "They're really cute, and I’m looking forward to taking it on walks and maybe even to the skate park!"
With her record-breaking victory, Trew is now the youngest Australian Olympic medalist ever, smashing a record set in 1956.
She's known for pulling off incredible tricks and has been aiming for gold since she watched the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Now, with her victory secured, she may soon be accompanied by a pet duck in her skateboarding adventures!
