Professional skateboarder Andy Roy just started a new project called RipRide Official, stepping into making skateboards and merch that come out in small batches through the year.
The first release is tied to DMX and carries a personal meaning for Andy, built around a moment he had with DMX years ago when they crossed paths and even shared a stage.
The first drop is limited to 100 skateboards.
Each one is signed and numbered by Andy. Along with the deck, the package includes a signed print, a t shirt, RipRiders hot sauce, and a Top Ramen Hug Ramen packet that connects DMX and Andy in one design.
The whole set is built like a collector bundle, not just a single board.
Andy shared that this idea came together naturally after reflecting on DMX and the experience he had meeting him.
He said the timing of the first drop felt right for a tribute, and it became the first release under RipRide Official.
Each set is priced at $310 plus shipping and handling, with all 100 units available directly online.
The DMX tribute also connects to the date of his passing, giving the drop a personal layer rather than just a product release.
Andy explained that RipRide Official is something he plans to keep building, with more skateboard and merch drops coming out over time.
For this first release, the focus sits on DMX, the limited quantity, and the mix of items that come with each board.

"Super excited to let you all know I’m starting my new project RipRide Official. Making skateboards and merchandise humans will be stoked on. I’ll be doing drops through out the year. My first drop the timing couldn’t have been better and was meant to be.
As a big fan of DMX, I had the wildest experience crossing paths with him. It was an honor to be able to share the stage with him haha.
So in memory of DMX I made a limited run of 100 signed skateboards and signed print, also comes with t shirt, hot sauce and Top Ramen Hug Ramen packet. This drop will be on April 9th at 10a.m. to commemorate the late DMX!!"
