Check out skateboarding legend Andy Macdonald shredding fellow icon Tony Hawk's vert ramp in Liquid Death's "Murder Man" costume.
After skateboarding legend Andy Macdonald proved that age is just a number at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Liquid Death founder and CEO Mike Cessario was honored to work with the icon using their "Murder Man" costume.
Cessario shared a throwback Instagram post celebrating Macdonald's awesome performance, recalling how the 49-year-old skater at that time rocked The Birdman's vert ramp in the "Murder Man" costume.
Despite the challenge of skating with limited visibility through the mask, Macdonald still crushed it.
Cessario's post highlighted Macdonald's ongoing success and dedication to extreme sport, proving that passion and skill know no age limits. With Liquid Death by his side, the legend continues to inspire the skateboarding community and beyond.
Liquid Death posted, "Remembering back when skate legend @andymac720 put on a Murder Man costume and ripped Tony Hawk’s vert ramp. He was 49 years old at the time and he could barely see through the mask. Yet he was still ripping. And today Andy just competed on the world stage at age 51 against kids who are young enough to be his kids. There’s few better humans or ramp skaters alive. Extremely honored to have him as a Liquid Death investor, personal friend, and pseudo skate coach who taught me how to land my first backside air on vert when I was 39 years old. Andy is an inspiration to so many (especially me). He’s proof that skateboarding is truly the fountain of youth.
