YouTube star Allen Pan is back at it again with another crazy invention, and this time he decided to mess with skateboarding.
Instead of learning the ollie the hard way, Pan thought, why not just make the board do it for you?
The ollie is usually the first big trick skaters need to learn, and it can take hours of practice and plenty of slams to get right.
Pan’s answer to that struggle was to build a skateboard that literally jumps on its own.
To test things out, Pan brought in none other than pro skateboarder Bam Margera.
Having Margera on board made the whole project even more fun, since he’s been around skateboarding for years and knows how tough the ollie is for beginners.
Together, they put Pan’s automatic ollie board to the test, and yes! It actually works.
