Ribs Man has come a long way since its creation 10 years ago, but the person behind the skeleton costume today is no longer the same one who started it all.
As we previously reported, Neil Morales, the original creator of Ribs Man, recently shared a personal update while celebrating the project's 10th anniversary.

Along with announcing a special coffin rail collaboration with Lil Jawns Rails, Morales revealed that he has not been involved with Ribs Man or its Instagram account for the past few years.
For those who may not be familiar with its beginnings, Ribs Man started when Morales put on a skeleton costume and got a few homies involved.
What started as a fun project eventually grew into something much bigger in the skateboarding scene, with appearances at events, sponsorships, trips and collaborations along the way.
The character even landed an interview on The Nine Club and became a playable character in the skateboarding video game Session.

It was quite a run for a project that started with a costume and a group of friends.
However, things have changed over the years.
Morales has since stepped away from Ribs Man, leaving the project and its social media account behind.
While he did not go into detail about who currently wears the costume or runs the account, his statement confirms that a different skater is behind Ribs Man these days.
