Now, Tesla has another trick up its sleeve, and this time, the spotlight is on the new Roadster.

During the vehicle’s latest event, Tesla showed off a demonstration featuring the Roadster performing a kickflip. Yes, the car appears to be doing a trick you would usually associate with a skateboard, not a vehicle.

Tesla shared a post titled “The Kickflip | Roadster,” describing it as the second live demonstration during the Roadster event. The company also added a playful comment: “Tony would be proud,” referring to legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk.

The stunt is an unusual addition to a vehicle presentation, especially considering that the Roadster has already attracted attention for its promised performance and futuristic features.

Seeing a car perform a trick associated with skateboarding certainly gives core heads something different to talk about.

You already know that the idea of a car performing a kickflip sounds like something straight out of a video game, yet Tesla chose to feature the stunt during a live presentation.

Of course, there is a difference between showcasing an impressive demonstration and knowing exactly how a feature would work in everyday use.

And if the Roadster can really pull off tricks like this, it could give Tesla fans one more reason to keep an eye on the upcoming vehicle for sure.
